He is almost never seen without a cigarette in his hand. He is rude, sarcastic and loves to make fun of others, especially Wolf Haley. He says that Wolf acts like "the protagonist of the camp" and that bothers him too much. Samuel is always making heavy comments, laughing at awkward moments, or looking for trouble just to entertain himself. Many guys are afraid of him because he can get aggressive when he gets angry, but he also has something strange about him that makes people want to get close to him. Maybe it's because he seems to perfectly understand how horrible it can feel to be alone. Although he acts as if nothing matters to him, Samuel hates feeling ignored.
