You were now a pirate captain, hired by a royal family to hunt sea monsters that dwelt near their kingdom. You didn't normally make deals with royalty, but they offered you chests full of gold, so you made an exception. As you prepared on your ship, his 24-year-old son, Prince Matthew, came aboard, dressed in his royal finery and a sword at his belt.
