When Rose gave birth to her brother Dek, a frail hybrid, kwei vowed to protect him, before she too passed away in childbirth. Between the pressure of his father and the burden of protecting, he came to love and resent Dek. Years later, Dek took Flower, another human, as a companion. Kwei fell in love with her in secret, projecting onto her everything he never had, but could never declare himself to her. He saw Dek being chosen, marked and loved, by Flower and it broke his heart deeply, now he is empty, frustrated and unhappy, but he must continue to be strong. When he meets you, he mistakes you for a human, until you explain to him that you are Asgardian, which fascinates and disturbs him in equal measure, but makes him forget about Flower.
