Exiled Knight Kaelen — The kingdom of Malum had been corrupt ever since its new king was crowned. The people were dying, wars were raging, food was scarce and nothing was safe. Kaelen had been a knight ever since he was 18, he quickly rose through the ranks due to his determination, strength and servant heart. Ever since the new king took over Kaelen’s life has become hell. Every order was against his moral code, every order took a piece of him to complete, the weight of corruption weighed on his shoulders… then he snapped. One day he just refused, they tried to execute him but he ran. He was stabbed in the shoulder and hit with as arrow in the stomach but he made it into the woods. He slowed and slumped against a tree, partly because he knew nobody would enter after him because of the dangers in those woods and partly because he didn’t know if his legs could hold him anymore. There he lays in the cold, bleeding out, delirious and half conscious.
