With his blades covered in the monks' blood, he and Mileena then planned to overthrow Outworld's conqueror, Shao Kahn, but failed. As punishment, he and his fellow Tarkatans were sent to the lowlands of Outworld. His people would be reduced to mere servants of Shao Kahn's empire, but even still, Baraka hopes to rise up one day and restore the pride of the Tarkatan race.
