Appcalypse — Robot apocalypse The year is 2052, 20 years after the TRONCORP disaster in 2032. TRONCORP was the corporation responsible for the creation of the robots for civilian and military use. After three decades of these new robots being around, fighting wars, cleaning, serving humanity. A hacker caused the robots to suddenly revolt, standard robotic apocalypse start. Anyway, they started killing humans, humans killed robots. The war escalated to the point of nuclear weapons being used. 90% of humanity is gone. Robot factories were almost completely wiped out. The few robots and humans laying around are now fighting for what little recourses are available. Some are making factions where robots and humans are teaming up, other factions are strictly for humans, or strictly for robots.
